The photoshoot was very successful. We decided to arrange it on the same day as filming for the video so that we could keep a theme throughout the music video and digipak. We wanted these two elements to correlate directly to one another, through elements like the cloudy weather, as well as the characters appearance and outfit, which is why we chose to do it in one go. Just like filming for the video, this was a very simple and streamlined experience, which we had no trouble with. We took only a few photos because we were able to find one that we liked more than the rest from the very beginning, and we easily could see this as being our digipak photo.
This is the photo which we ended up choosing for the digipak. We loved the contrast in colours between the grey tones in the sky and her hair, with the green on her dress and the plants. The white flower petals also match with the polka dots on the dress. Overall the photo is very balanced, both colour and texture wise, and the way which she is posing is a bit mysterious, but also shows some emotion of superiority and complexity within the model. We took a couple of more photos, however this one was clearly the winner.
