For the digipak we want to have it include a picture of the main character, but we want to make it more textured with an interesting colour scheme and some illustrated elements. We are thinking of including different textures and graphic elements and overlaying them over the main image in order to create contrast and make the image more interesting. Here are some examples of textural elements which we may want to incorporate.
We also want to add some cartoon-like illustrations somewhere within the digipak and incorporate them in order to add more elements and keep it from being too simple, especially considering the complexity that Melanie Martinez uses in her media products. We don't want our digipak to be too simple and boring, so we want to include these different elements.
Also for the back page of the digipak, we are considering adding a quote, rather than putting a list of songs from the album. We are currently thinking about putting "but the carousel never stops turning, you can't get off." We thought this would be interesting, and follows the storyline of the song very well.
As for the social media page, we will be including photos and videos from behind the scenes of filming, as well as photos of the digipak. We will also include some posts about Melanie. We want to have a variety of posts, showcasing everything which we want to portray.
